I wonder what kind of stunt they pulled to which this album outsells Thriller by 5 fukking million...

I've been watching these two albums American sales for like the past 15 years lol.

They both sell around a couple thousand week. Mike got a big spike when he died. But they were typically neck and neck in sales. Theres absolutely no reason why there should be a 5 million difference coming from the eagles. Even if you include streaming this gotta be some form of trolling

The articles fail to mention the "U.S only" part. Mike is an international pop star, thriller was always based off WW sales

It was never based soley on what he did in America. The eagles GREATEST HITS can go for biggest American album. Thriller is the biggest album period

Yea as they said in their documentary..classic rock stations in the 80s really made them even bigger..
