I support black owned businesss and make it a job to tip black owned spots even if there isn’t a tipping jar.

Treat me even better I’ll give you 50% tip.

At black owned spots, me and my wife make a conscientious effort to tip at least 20%. At non-black spots, it's an even 10-15% based on service. My Uncle usually tips before hand, it's like priming a bartender, they will remember you and hustle. He handed this sista $25 and said take care of us, our drinks never reached half full lol.

Used to work in a hotel a few years back. Yea black folks aren’t the best tippers but the worse tippers to me are Jewish.

Matter of fact a Jewish person will give you $1 dollar and he’ll make sure it’s the most wrinkled and torn $1 in his wallet!

White folks overall seem like the best tippers but I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that there are just more white people than anybody!

Yea I forgot to put Indians on my post but I later did.

Indians and Middle Easteners are also the worst.

Also Indians have the worst attitudes. They let it be known that you are there to serve them.

I remember working at a hotel by the airport and hoping to god each day an airline from Indian or the Middle East didn’t get delayed at JFK airport because that meant I had to deal with all of them by myself.

this man gets it. i overtip my local delivery guys first few times and always thank them for their great service. guess who always gets fast delivery and great service now?

people remember how you treat them and they talk about customers with each other.

a useful thing to remember when dealing with anyone you trust (the guy washing your car, the valet, the cleaning service, the delivery guys) is that everyone has to get taken care of well or you won't get the kind of service you want. and if you really stiff them they will find a way to stiff you.
