Who cares?
The Democratic party had a former president step to stop a candidate that wanted to help elevate the lives of like 99% of Americans in this country and you don't think that's a big deal? :francis:

I get that we've been indoctrinated since birth and that this country is fukking awful.... But we have to strive for better fam. Things can be better, and Bernie has always fought for that.

.
let me fix that for you;

the guy who knew how to win (twice :obama:), preventing republican rule for 8 years, knew that bernie wasn't the movement

you seem to have this childish view of america where far left candidates are good presidential candidates. it just isnt the case :dead: you need the bernies and warrens as senate majority leaders, not presidents

One of the most disgraceful acts by a president, a party and the mainstream liberal media against their “own” in my lifetime.

shyt still disgusts me to this day. They couldn’t even let the process play out fairly.

This is such :skip: stuff.

During the 2016 election the narrative was that Sanders's policies were well liked, but he lacked the name recognition.

By 2020 Sanders was on one of the most known politicians in America with his supporters routinely touting him being the most popular politician in America. Polls and election splits showed that he had made in roads with traditional dems from 2016 to 2020.

But at the end of the day they gambled on turning out a new base over voters to overtake the party and the gamble didn't pay off. This is all stuff we know.

Sanders Says He’ll Attract a Wave of New Voters. It Hasn’t Happened. (Published 2020)

At some point y'all are going to have to reconcile your competing views that Obama was terrible president with how much people like him to the point that he can single handedly tip the scales of democratic elections.:manny:

If @88m3 @dora_da_destroyer and pressure: the axis of bad faith corporate apologism 1 star my thread, I know I did something right.
If a Bernie bro randomly labels me as a corporate apologist for not seeing Bernie as the answer, I know they’re fishing for daps and I did something right :smugbiden:

i'll join in to to then with that bad faith axis because this is a big old joke of a thread (turrible) ... and got the nerve to talk about bad faith. obama is this horrible president who no one likes but can still kill bernie's candidacy at the same damn time, old magical negro ass.

next you'll tell me obama told bernie that he should become a democrat.

Proving my point. Bad faith.

Bernie being the answer or not is irrelevant. This is about a former president who still basically runs his party intervening in the democratic process to tip the scales for his selected presidential candidate.

Just say anti-democratic measures are only bad when Republicans do it.

You sound ignorant and uninformed. Obama personally made the call to get Buttigieg and Klobuchar to drop out and endorse Biden and get the whole party establishment behind him on one accord prior to SC, when Bernie was the frontrunner and Biden got washed in the first 3 primaries. Maybe you didn’t know that. If you think that was an irrelevant footnote of no consequence, maybe you’re conversation isn’t really for you.
