Truth be told a lot of blacks that move to white neighborhoods have the when they see another black family move in the neighborhood because they don't want the neighborhood to turn all black since that's what they was running from in the first place.
That could be true today since blacks are more established. But back in the 50s to 70s I’m not sure what the mindset of black middle class folks were.
But I know what you’re talking about. My mom is a c00n and she wasn’t really ok with a young Puerto Rican dude moving into our building.
