i wanted to keep him yes..but at the end of the day i was fine with it overall since we missed out on durant at the draft and got ray. that made contending make more sense. even though Al was showing incredible potential..he did have a lot of ankle problems too so thats how i rationalized it

if we won the lotto that year we woulda taken durant (ainge got in trouble for tampering during the ncaa season by talking to durants mom)...rondo/allen/pierce/durant/big al would have been the dopest

He's a good player, a very good one at times. Hell, he's even elite at times. But his inability to hit shots and the way he forces assists can hurt a team. He worked great when KG and PP was carrying the load - he's a great complementary player.

All in all, I'd love for Rondo to stick around in beantown. But I wouldn't give him anything more than 11-12 million a year. Maybe 13, that's it.

I agree. Rondo is one of my favorite players but if he wants the max Danny needs to let him walk. If he wants to come back for around $12 mil a year then that'd be great but if he wants more than that then gotta part ways.

I never said Teams wouldnt be interested. If im the Heat I'd jump at the chance of getting Rondo. But the price is a major factor. I wouldnt throw high max-type dollars at Rondo, ever.
