this should be a thread upon itself. hayward is a very good player but good wings come along pretty damn often nowadays...rebounding pass first PGs dont
Just because he's a rarity doesn't make him the better player or with more value. He's rebounds #s don't have the type of impact on a game that yall think they do.

i think hes as hesitant as any..plus rondo wants to test the market...if given the choice though i think ainge would have to. its gonna be hard to bring talent here otherwise..rondo is a potential draw for other players although he seems to be somewhat disliked
The only teams i see paying huge money to ROndo are teams that are set at most positions but desperately need a PG to create for their finishers. Namely... Rockets and maybe N.O. but i doubt N.O. does something like this

or a team like the jazz who has to overpay to keep talented players because they arent a draw for free agents. boston is in that category unfortunately. theyve NEVER been a landing spot for FAs other than when we had the big 3 and could recruit vets to sign for min money to play on a good team

What you see now is not what's going to be come free agency.

fukk that team got better shyt. Only people spouting that are the nikkas who just read box scores. Yeah like the first 6-7 games after Rondo got hurt the team was playing greaore watchingt and went on a winning streak but after that the Celtics looked terrible. Especially in the playoffs. Avery Bradley & Paul Pierce struggling to make simple entry passes all while making Raymond Felton look like prime Isiah Thomas.
Ok wins and losses is box score watching?!

They even scored more points with him gone and yall wanna talk about how great he is at helping an offense while he actuallys hurts one :heh:

i watch almost every game. a good portion of his rebounds are empty boards but he also gets a good portion of o-boards and crafty layups after and in this faster paced offense he can get the ball upcourt faster off a d board. his rebounding is definitely a plus attribute..but not as plus as a guy with similar RPG or more because its rare he grabs a board that is competitive in which he has to box out well or get over the top on a guy for it..its either sneaky weakside boards or boards that come to him

Jazz wont pay that kinda money to a player Like Rondo. THey have too many other needs to break the bank for someone like ROndo. Denver, maybe

We'll see

didnt mean the jazz specifically. meant a team like them (bucks etc) that have to overpay to keep their guys around because they arent a premier destination. i have a hard time believing many other teams would have given burks the contract he got

Just because a team has a better record without a player doesn't automatically mean the team is actually better without him. Like most things, it can be deceiving. The Cavs had a better record without Kyrie Irving than they did with him last season. But who really believes the Cavs would've been better off trading Kyrie for some bench players and promoting Matthew Dellavedova to starter?

I see you're a Heat fan. The Heat when the Big 3 were there had a better record without Dwyane Wade than with him, but were they really better off with Mike Miller starting at SG instead of Wade?
