highly doubt it, senegal is a legit democracy
their president could have ran for third term in the '24 election(even if it came with protest from the youth) and won from the silent majority, but chosw not to.

besides, who would lead the coup in Senegal? I hope you don't think the military like it's surrounding country.

Yes, I also doubt this.

I think Senegal is the only country in West Africa that has never had a coup in its history (I might be wrong tho). So, they must be doing something right with the way their military hierarchy is constructed & I doubt that tradition will change.

I believe Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau & Ivory Coast are countries to keep an eye on. But I hope it doesn’t happen in Sierra Leone cos they have already been through so much.

However, Ivory Coast might need one to get Alassane Ouattara out of the paint. He’s 81 & has been there for 13yrs - time to retire.

:lupe: Oh shyt!

:jbhmm: Random thought: if countries start breaking away more fully from the colonizers, they gon seize their European accounts like they did with Qaddhafi. For this to work, they gotta move the money.

America is sitting this out and will render assistance if asked.....
The United States signed a Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) with West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU), of which Niger is a member.

Let them solve their own problems.
America is more involved in Africa right now than the middle east aside from USreal. nikka, do you know nothing
