I'm one of the few who are happy with what the front office has done this summer. So far we managed to move Rose for RoLo (who's on a great contract) and Grant. And thus far, they've made no panic signings to overpay average FAs (like half the league has already done).
My ideal scenario would be if they signed Allen Crabbe and then did nothing else.
But real talk, this Rondo buzz got me
I swear for gawd ya'll I don't want that Franklin the Turtle ass nicca on the Bulls. I would be OKAY with giving him a one year deal but that's it. I'm terrified he's gonna end up signing for 3 years or some shyt

Rondo will be the first true PG we've had in a long time....I think the offense could run a lot smoother. I'm just concerned with his attitude...his basketball IQ is off the charts...will he tune out Hoiberg and cause even more friction?

Yeah but Rondo is the ultimate stat padder. Plus he's one-dimensional i.e., teams barely play any defense on him outside of 10 feet. Oh and did I mention he's a 58% FT shooter?
And where are all the other teams throwing offers at him if he's so good? He literally has ZERO market right now outside of Chicago it seems.

A traditional PG isn't necessary in Hoiberg's offense. I remember when Hoiberg was hired, it was said the PG wouldn't have the ball as much due to it being a flowing offense, so how would Rondo fit better than Rose? He needs the ball to be effective.
I would just do what the Magic did with Jeff Green and give someone a one year, 15 mil offer to hit the salary floor.
