Would Rondo even want a short one year deal? He's probably rubbing his hands like birdman at all this money getting tossed out. Conley got 150Ms for fukks sake.

Probably not, and that's what scares me. He already took a one year deal with the Kings last season so I'm assuming he's looking for 3 years minimum. At this point I'm just hoping a team like Philly throws him a huge offer, but thus far I've only heard his name linked to Chicago :lupe:

I read 4 teams but I've only seen articles about the Bulls & 76ers... :lupe:

Sixers reportedly interested in Rajon Rondo

I highly doubt rondo is taking a 1 year deal from anyone. he actually played quite will for the kings last year.

Garpax still some fukking clowns though fukk that potato head ass bytch :pacspit:
I think some fans have allowed the front office to sell them the straddle the fence strategy, but they think they about to get the perfect storm of a high pick and 70 mill in cap and we will construct some super team next off season, when there is no way we can have both. If you want 2 stars to join the team, we need to win NOW. if we become a scrub team it makes jimmy and hoiberg look extremely bad and nobody is coming here. Players have options now and our cap space is no longer leverage.

So if we lose we will be paying mediocre guys this year , next year, year after don't matter.

An ideal situation, would be jimmy carrying us to top 3 or 4 in the east, having a good playoff showing , and then going to the negotiation table with that next off season.

But if we lose, we might as well ship jimmy off, accumulate as many assets as we can and in another 3-4 years hope someone emerges from the youth movement. I just don't see that franchise caliber player. My feelings are we will be more 76ers than a quick turn around like boston.

Yeah I'm totally cool with tanking. The free agent talk is a smoke screen by Gar, which is nothing new to Bulls fans.

Am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with this move? :patrice:

I'm not a rondo fan he overrated to me but I'm cool with it.It's better than calderon or jimmy trying to run pg and I think doug and niko will eat if rondo is signed

Rondo don't mesh with the 'hoiball' philosophy at all tho

Yea that's my concern. We already have one guy who pounds the ball running the shot clock down we don't need another. And we don't have lights out consistent shooters outside Doug. I doubt Hoiberg would be thrilled to have a non scoring ball dominant PG to work with. But he finds ways to get guys buckets. And if we get him on a short deal fine, eps if we are retooling. The fact just us and the sixers are interested lets us know his value in today's league. And I doubt he wants to waste away in Philadelphia. We may can get him on a market friendly deal

I'm confident that Rondo's personality would be too much for Hoiberg.

He's going to do whatever he wants, because he thinks he is smarter than anyone else on the floor and bench. Just wait for it...

Bulls aren't gonna intentionally tank as much as we think that would be the smart move the fo's reputation is attached to the hoiberg hire they can't have the dude fail especially after firing thibs. Also going 20-62 next year after trading rose would isolate fans you see plenty of the frauds on this board already went to the knicks there's plenty of people in chicago who will abandon this team next season cuz they weren't real fans in the 1st place. It's not happening unless the bulls team is just awful no matter what they try to put on the floor, they're delusional enough to believe next summer they'll attract 2 'max' fa's after a season of being a 6-8 seed.

Best case scenario is the bulls overachieve like the blazers last season did or the celtics have done with brad stevens

Ramona shelburne tweeted that pau's market is between 18-22 million and he's drawing interest from the raptors, blazers, spurs, wolves and ... the BULLS

I can't take another year of pau. Another game of pau
