my thoughts on signing Wade (and I say this fully thinking he goes back to Miami):

• hes one of the most respected players in the league, and its a feel good story bringing him home which would soothe some wounds (Rose, Noah)
• we shed the myth(yes it is) that we cant sign FAs
• it gives our shytty FO some credibility and respect around the league, which I suspect is at a low right now
• still allows us to have max space next summer, and Wade would be a huge chip in getting a top FA to sign with him, Jimmy and the young dudes

I also think we could then get aggressive on the trade front and hopefully top the roster with a legit starting PG (Bledsoe?(prob not), Knight? Beverly?)

I think Houston would do Niko for Pat Bev in a hearbeat(Dantoni & Morey WOULD fukkING LOVE DUDE) - we might be losing that trade in terms of value, but Im not prepared to pay Niko next summer to a huge deal which he will ultimately get, and its a great piece next to a Wade/Jimmy combo. Can play D and hit the open 3. All we need from PG if we have Wade/Jimmy, and a closing lineup of Bev/Wade/Jimmy/Taj/Lopez can play some SERIOUS defense.

Wade to bucks is sorta ridiculous. Why go to a non ship contender for 11mil. I mean they could move pieces around but can they even crack 20mil?

Honestly don't know how I feel about him in chi. He's a native and I've always wanted him but come on now he doesn't make us a contender. After the rosters been gutted this much we got no business trying to win. Let the young guys get their pt and lets get a lotto pick.
