What likely happened is the front office once again deflected the blame of the failures of the team off themselves and instead of looking at fred hoiberg and his Mr rogers style of coaching and had jimmy buy into the rose vs jimmy bullshyt and they probably behind closed doors Told jimmy the team was his. And that is likely where that comment comes from.

But this is making a sensitive issue that is being made worse

And if jimmy does not ball and excels to mvp consideration levels and over achieves similar to the 2011 bulls, jimmy is going to catch a ton of heat.

But with rose on his last year, and us no longer making title contention a priority, I don't see the urgency to do it, unless you saying we clearing rose off the books to have the space this season so we can pursue some guys now.

It's pretty absurd the Bulls give Sam Smith a platform on their site and allow him to shyt on their newly signed franchise player. That's embarrassing and you could tell Jimmy wasn't happy when they brought that up
