man I was up late last night and listened to that presser ... its legit scary how clueless Gar and Fred seem
they are so clueless it feels like an elaborate troll job the Bulls are pulling on their fans .... the levels of incompetency are absurd
I always laugh at people who think they could step into a GM job and do it right ... because its obviously alot more intricate/complex than we think ... but Im 100% convinced if you put proper scouts and financial people around me, I could do a better job than Gar

Hypothetically, who would you prefer between Barnes & Conley?
Barnes is young & athletic, and has the Iowa connection ... it would make sense that they ll throw money at him if they can still maintain max capspace next season (Im not saying I agree with it, I could just see them doing this)

Conleys max prob starts year 1 somewhere around 25.5-27.6
With the cap increase the following year though, hes only taking up like 24-25.5% of your cap and no longer 30%

I don't know, they might play Ingram at the 2.
I'd take a shot at Clarkson, he's not great but he's young and he could be a good 6th man when you get better players.

I don't think you need to gut the team, Hoiberg seems like he's garbage, and Jimmy and a bunch of dudes is a lottery team.
I like Conley at the point, this is PG league & we need one who can play at a high level
I also think Conley is one of the most clutch players in the league. I don't watch the Griz play often but when I see them in crunch time he's always a great decision maker. He doesn't always score but he gets straight into the offense & sets guys up without turnovers. And he plays great D, Barnes is way too wishy washy. Can't pay a guy that much when he's shown to be consistently inconsistent, even with the great looks he gets
