Y'all should hope the team is garbage so the FO trades Jimmy and hopefully get a top 3 pick for the 2017 draft

Westbrook is cool but I'm gonna go against the grain here because I don't think he's a good fit w/ Jimmy. Furthermore, I don't expect Westbrook to exhibit the same longevity as KD due to his lack of shooting. In fact, once he starts to lose his athleticism, I would imagine his overall impact will be drastically reduced. Can't say I'm uber excited with tying up a bunch of salary in a player who will likely be on the downtrend in 2017.

On top of all that, it's not as if a Westbrook/Jimmy pairing would have a realistic shot against GSW. Adding Blake would further kill floor spacing and the offense in general would suffer. You would have to start a stretch 4 alongside two lackluster shooters like Jimmy and Westbrook.

In all honesty, at this point it makes WAY more sense to just blow it up and tank. GS will be dominating the league for the next 3-4 years.

been watching the nba long enough to know a couple of things:

1. if you want any chance at winning a ring, you need a top 5 player on your roster, currently, although i think jimmy is good and could make a leap, jimmy is not that and currently, westbrook is. i do agree that we could just wait and court him next off season, and not lose assets, but if its a chance you can get the guy, you just have to do it. especially if you are a team in our position.

2. i have seen these "superteams" get put together on paper a dozen times and they fail more than they succeed. you never blow your roster with the expectations that golden state just about to run a muck on the league, injuries, chemistry, etc always play a part. you keep trying to contend. conceding to what is on paper is poor management.

even if you cant win it all next season, you put yourself in prime position so that if your luck can change and lets say a blake griffin and westbrook decide they like whats going on with hoiberg, jimmy, maybe niko turns a corner, maybe mcdermott turns a corner, maybe valentine is that guy who competes for rookie of the year, etc. then you can be able to go after both of them. but blowing it up only guarantees 10 years of hell. a major market city and sports town like chicago dont deserve that. it creates a losing culture, and its hard to see that superstar that we can draft that can carry the franchise.

Rondo? RONDO? :mjlol:

Bulls are done :laff:

Season is going to be a disaster. I can smell the locker room ego clashes now. Why not spend real money on a real star? Has rondo ever proving himself or being effective season long (outside of boston that is). I can't wait for the fukkery, bulls backoffice is absolutely garbage.
But nikkas swear rose was the problem

In the ocean where the sharks be at
It's gotta be hard being a sox and bulls fan, watching both organizations being ran into the ground the exact same way. Smh

Instead of tearing it down and positioning yourself for a better future, we'd rather sign washed up vets with name recognition to trick the fans into buying tickets.

Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, anticipating a different result. So miss me wit whatever these clowns tryna do in 2017.

Rondo is neither younger nor more athletic than rose, has beefed wit every coach he's had since college and he gon listen to Hoiberg?:laff:

Jimmy already wanted rose outta here so he could get his James harden on, how he gon feel wit rondo melting the clock, tryna pad them assist numbers?

Squad back to living in the projects:wow:

I might watch more wolves/Knicks games this season than these nikkas:wow:

Why would you trade Jimmy for Russ now? then what? I believe some of you guys are setting yourself up to be disappointed. Yea we'll have cap next season but doubt we make any impact signing and the way the league is going now whats the point? KD and the warrior vs Lebron is a lock for the next couple of season so at this point Bulls fans will just be watching just to watch. Hopefully most of you guys were around to see Jordan win us some shyt because Im not seeing us winning anything for a while...

I envy you old nikkas :mjcry:

Don't envy us breh because if you would've seen&experienced what we did you would hate garpax even more

Jerry Krause is garpax, it's the same person. Garpax lucked up on rose and Butler (lucked up getting a 1st pick). Krause had something lucky years as a gm, and fumbled a lot . We haven't had competent management for decades

This.

I also want to add on that Riensdorf is the problem as well because he doesn't even care about the Bulls. For years he said he would trade all six titles for a WS ring before the Sox won in '05. And as a Sox fan if he loves them so damn much why are they not competing every year like the Yankees/RedSox smh

Once the Bulls get a more hands on owner and competent FO they will be a more attractive squad
