I mean I was getting hyped at having the most space in the league next summer. It's not even a bad contract tbh
It just doesn't make any sense for what we should be doing

14m for Rondo is a steal. You aint gotta like HIM...but he can pass his ass off and his basketball IQ is phenomenal....That looks to be the trend with this team.
He's gonna make a lot of our marginal players look better, which will increase their trade value.

about, but what is Rondo going to do on the court when Jimmy wants to dominate the ball?
Rondo will be standing there unguarded, also he got into it with Carlisle a few times a couple season ago how is he going to treat Hoiberg?

Edit: If Jimmy plays off ball and the team buys into whatever it is Hoiball is then I guess Rondo + Butler should be decent. Rondo not really looking to score so he'll be setting up teammates all game
