This is some weird-ass caping.

Griff wasn't the President of Basketball Operations for the Suns, Steve Kerr was. Griffin was the Vice President.

Griff didn't become the VP of Basketball Operations with the Suns until after the 2007 season. So most of their success was already in the rear-view mirror and the team was already together at that point.

After Griffin became VP of basketball operations, Suns only won two playoff series total....ever again.

These were the moves they made:

Drafted Rudy Fernandez, Alondo Tucker, and DJ Strawberry.
Sent Fernandez away for cash.
Traded away James Jones for cash.
Traded away Kurt Thomas for a 2nd-round pick.
Traded away Shawn Marion for old Shaq.
Signed old Grant Hill.

Lost in the 1st round

Let Mike D'Antoni walk and signed Terry Porter as head coach
Drafted Robin Lopez and Malik Hairston, then traded Hairston and a 2nd-round pick for Goran Dragic.
Signed Matt Barnes.
Signed Louis Amundson.
Traded away Raja Bell and Boris Diaw for Jason Richardson and Jared Dudley
Fired Terry Porter and made Alvin Gentry the head coach

Missed the playoffs for the first time since Nash joined the team

Drafted Earl Clark, Taylor Griffin, and Emir Preldžič.
Traded away old Shaq for old Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, and a 2nd-round pick
Signed Channing Frye.

Made the WCF then got swept by the Lakers.

Team hasn't made the playoffs since.

That's the shyt you were big-upping. Suns were already a good team by the time Griffin became VP of Basketball Operations, they pretty much only got worse after that. There were a couple good moves in there (getting rid of Porter early, drafting Lopez, trading for Dragic) but the bad ones were worse, and the team went downhill.

Maybe you can say that's not Griffin's fault cause he was only VP, not President of Basketball Operations or GM. But I don't know what the hell you're giving him credit for. And I actually like Griff.
Mediocre white men offended at having to share equal or partial power with a player.

shyt like that ALWAYS feels like oppression to these white dudes....but niqqas are swallowing that “terrorizing” angle whole. :mjlol:

I’m co-signing his opinion, not his abilities.

And this is where his opinion is rooted:

The “terror” this guy likely felt was a lack of complete control. Lots of ordinary white dudes feel like equality and being equals to those who they feel “should” be beneath them in rank feels like oppression.

But you go ahead and keep on agreeing with his “opinion. “ :mjlol: I’ll be the niqqa telling you where its likely rooted from.

This is the part where you likely tell me it isnt about race (sorry...this is how many mediocre white men rock) or some other crap. :manny:

It's one thing to tell David Griffin that LeBron is the reason why he won in Cleveland. I don't think that's entirely true (Kyrie hit that shot). But I can see where the stans come from on this one.

But don't tell him how he should feel or how it was to work with LeBron for that 3 year stretch. Especially considering that none of us were there.

They won because of 1 shot?

Guess LeBron made the call and forced him to fall back. I don't know how you can walk back a comment like "LeBron wants all the praise and none of the blame" but I guess we're about to find out.
It’s not guess, he did make the call. Espn reporter that they asked griff to take back what he said.

Woj was releasing statements by griff right away and now a tv show lol

Why didn’t he say anything about Kyrie or K Love? :jbhmm:
Yet.

He was supposed to be Bron's guy up until 2 days ago so who knows what nonsensical declaration he'll make next time an interviewer comes calling.

Collapsing on the floor in despair after winning a championship :jagfan: He sounds unstable, honestly.
