Josh Brown was suspended and hasn't been back in the league since that situation came to light. This one is a tricky situation as it's out of the league's hands with it happening before he got to the league. You can say that the league did it with Terrell Pryor, but a lot of people thought then that the league overstepped their boundaries in doing so.

If they had their way, then the dude would be cut and out of sight and out of mind as this is worse optics than the Watson situation.

Actually the league does in a way as they're going to take the fall if the Bills keep him on the roster and why he's not punished/released. There's no way that dude can step on the field tonight, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if someone at the league office has been in contact with the Bills about the situation.
