You have to go prototype when you drafting a QB # 1 overall.

He more athletic than Tua and imo a better passer, Tua is a pro bowl level talent with an elite WR core and backfield

This means killing the draft. But you also have a certain amount of time to build while your QB is under his rookie deal where you have flexibility to build and try to win while he's cheap.

What also affects roster building is that when you inevitably have to pay Bryce, if he's good, you gonna have to give him $300 million guaranteed which will greatly inhibit how your roster looks going forward

This means that you are gonna have to let some good players go. When you let good players go and you're paying your QB ridiculous money that means he's gonna have to carry you. He is going to have to be great enough to carry your team despite having holes..

Can he go on the road in the playoffs in the cold weather and throw the football through the wind?
