So much that bullshyt Prichard was spewing when the podcast first started about "there is no pro WWE agenda here! I was fired, and I have no desire to go back. I'm happy doing what I'm doing now"

:mjlol:
That was probably the feeling when they started.

Part of me feels he was mostly hired to basically be WWE's spokesperson vs sheets on some Sean Spicer shyt

They were meaning to fire him sooner than they did as he kinda skipped out on meetings etc. Might have been why he went to rehab but the firing in 08 was long due. Not sure what hes done in TNA/MLW to rehire him.

He was excellent at producing montages and promos though so maybe thats why but ioonno

With the Bischoff podcast I got tired of looking at my phone during my morning commute like, DAMN..can he stop talking about "Turner Legal" and all this other bullshyt that has nothing to do with a botched Nitro, poor booking, and locker room politics.

The Starcade 97' episode was it for me, 20 years later and he still can't admit that they botched that finish. He's gone on and on about how Sting showed up without a tan, looking "uninterested" and having "demons"....meanwhile Andre the giant showed up to Wrestlemania walking with a cane and could barely stand up right, but somehow they managed to pull that off. Nah uncle Eric, you let Hogan talk you into some shyt which lead to the botched finish of a 1 year story line.

:bronwtf1:
Turner Legal :laff: Surprised they haven't made that a shirt yet.

Yeah, I've completely checked out on that podcast too. Endlessly talking in circles. Ask him what color the ring ropes were and he'll Juelz for 10 minutes about how contracts were structured, Janie wasnt in the office that day and licensing deals. Leave you like :dahell:.

When Bruce said he had no plans to go back to the WWE I believe he meant it. But at the same time, he did certain things not to “burn a bridge”.

WWE scooped him up because his stock is very high and he was likely going to work for a competitor.

I think the situation is less “complicated” than it seems

Also you can't imagine when he started that anyone thought the podcast was going to be so well-liked and critically acclaimed that he'd be invited back to work for them again.

fukk Lawler, but listening now just to hear if anything is said. They're in working mode at the moment. Bruce sounding way upbeat, Conrad sounding really down and low-energy and sending shots about "last time" this and "last time" that, but no one saying "WWE". Kind of annoying.

Conrad: What's going on, man? :francis: :martin:

Bruce: Just another day in paradise! :krs: :bryan:

Did he address the future of the show?

Future of the show was talked about at the end of the episode

Bruce Prichard discussed his return to WWE on his Something To Wrestle podcast that dropped today. It was announced last week that Prichard would be returning to WWE to head the creative team.

During the podcast, Prichard admitted that he never thought that he would return to the company, even saying that he would have put the odds of that happening at 100,000 to 1. He said that everything happened really fast and that he's very happy to be back with the company. Prichard was at this week's television tapings and despite reports that he will be Vince McMahon's right hand man, Prichard said that his role with the company is not yet defined.

"I'm extremely proud and extremely happy to be back in the family at WWE," Prichard said. "I had my first TVs back this past week. I had an absolute blast seeing everybody."

"I'm not being coy, but a lot still needs to be worked out as far as what my role will be. I'm going to come back and help out wherever I can be most valuable. We're working through it, we're figuring out where I might fit best and how and what and why and everything else. It's something that happened pretty quickly with me going to TV.

"A lot has changed in 10 years. I have to see where I fit in and they have to see where I fit in. There's still a lot of questions to be answered, and I'm looking forward to an incredible journey."

We reported earlier that Prichard's hiring will not affect their scheduled live shows, which he confirmed. He did note that there won't be any more live shows after that, saying that if he's going to do something, he's going to do it 100%.

Prichard also revealed that the podcast will not be cancelled. He said that while there are might be some changes with their scheduling, the show will continue.

"We're going to figure out what it's going to be, where it's going to be and all of that good stuff," Prichard stated. "All those questions are still to be answered. We're working our way through it. We're going to experiment with some things and have some fun and see where we go."
