I wonder if the relationship between Cokeboy and Undertaker soured, so he brought back Bruce to help mend that fence down the line
I started listening to Russo's cast and I thought I would make it to 5-6 episodes but I'm already passing on it. Russo is long winded as fukk
bro, can I tell you something bro....
bro, before I answer can we take it back to 1997....
bro, do you have any eye-dear the writing that went into his character?....
bro, I sawr him as a baby face, but Vince thought otherwise...
....the fact of da matter is ....
I lost interest in the podcast but might go back and listen to a few shows. 'Foley wins the title' and a few others look good

Bischoff is another one, but I ain't got the time.
Anywho, good for Bruce to get another run at it.
With the Bischoff podcast I got tired of looking at my phone during my morning commute like, DAMN..can he stop talking about "Turner Legal" and all this other bullshyt that has nothing to do with a botched Nitro, poor booking, and locker room politics.I bushed the Bischoff podcast a good while ago. Much like the Russo description, took forever to answer a question, and stayed getting defensive about it. And breh came with some serious ducktales, too. One of the first episodes, he had the nerve to say that WCW at no point was stealing people away from WWF, and made Hall/Nash/Hogan bigger stars. shyt was crazy. I also got tired of the extended Blue Chew ads. This guy Bischoff would really be out here telling everybody about how he was plotting out smashing his wife without a single bit of irony or intended humor.

Eeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhh
I will say this..... Hogan was and is Hogan.... but him turning Heel made him an even BIGGER star.
And then yea Razor Ramon and Desiel were big, but NASH & HALL became MEGA and it’s a reason we still refer to them as NASH & HALL and not their WWF names/gimmicks. It’s semantics but he ain’t exactly tell duck tales
Martha
Yeah, it's definitely a case of semantics. I think the only one you can 100% say got a bigger name for themselves would be Scott Hall. He was never going to be a main event/focused talent in WWF, but they LED with Hall, instead of waiting for them to be able to use Nash.
Any argument about Nash will always get countered by someone mentioning the lengthy WWF title run.
I would argue that Hogan wasn't a case of becoming a bigger star, but they definitely deserve credit for having the balls to turn him heel. He was never going to exceed the heights of the 80s in the WWF, but he didn't matter as much as you would expect from 94 to 96 when the turn happened.
Nash was NEVER as hot/over as he was in 98 when he was leading the Wolfpac. Dude was legit up there with Austin and Goldberg.Yeah, it's definitely a case of semantics. Podcast was losing steam, which was inevitable. There's only so much to tell.
Another 5+ year run in creative and Bruce is gonna have all the ammo he needs for his next podcast run, might even gather Intel on shyt that went down while he was away
Is it me or has the audio quality on the podcast significantly fallen off? I swear the volume changes on its own throughout the show.
I'm glad Conrad went in on Bischoff about the decision for the retarded Starrcade finish, built up a 17 month storyline and you change your mind cause he wasn't fukking tanned, complete bullshytWith the Bischoff podcast I got tired of looking at my phone during my morning commute like, DAMN..can he stop talking about "Turner Legal" and all this other bullshyt that has nothing to do with a botched Nitro, poor booking, and locker room politics.
The Starcade 97' episode was it for me, 20 years later and he still can't admit that they botched that finish. He's gone on and on about how Sting showed up without a tan, looking "uninterested" and having "demons"....meanwhile Andre the giant showed up to Wrestlemania walking with a cane and could barely stand up right, but somehow they managed to pull that off. Nah uncle Eric, you let Hogan talk you into some shyt which lead to the botched finish of a 1 year story line.
