They really hired this guy so he wouldn't be if any use to AEW. :mjlol:

Never mind that there was no reason to believe there was any mutual interest between the two parties aside from having Conrad fukking Thompson of all people in common.

They probably let Arn go because he was booked for Starrcast last year. :mjlol:

For a company that realistically should view AEW as a threat over an extended timeline, they sure are treating them like "right now" problem.

shyt, the other releases ain't slick, either. Probably cut them hoping AEW jumps on signing them like TNA did with their castoffs back in the day just so they can be on some "look at this second rate promotion taking our sloppy seconds :mjpls:" shyt.

It's borderline embarrassing to watch any company move like this.

Happy to hear Bruce is back with the company, sucks that it probably signals the end for the podcast but they had a really really good run. You could tell it hurt him deeply that he was initially let go, so good for him that he's back
If you listen to the Houston Wrestling EP and the why was Bruce fired ep, it's impossible not to understand why Bruce loves Vince and by extension the company. Vince held that man down like crazy.

All that ass kissing paid off, lol. For real, happy for dude.

I think having a watch along show on the Network, with Conrad/Tony would be enjoyable. I like those, especially the ECW and WWE shows Tony never saw.

I lost interest in the podcast but might go back and listen to a few shows. 'Foley wins the title' and a few others look good

I started listening to Russo's cast and I thought I would make it to 5-6 episodes but I'm already passing on it. Russo is long winded as fukk

:mindblown:

bro, can I tell you something bro....
bro, before I answer can we take it back to 1997....
bro, do you have any eye-dear the writing that went into his character?....
bro, I sawr him as a baby face, but Vince thought otherwise...
....the fact of da matter is ....

Bischoff is another one, but I ain't got the time.

Anywho, good for Bruce to get another run at it.

What are some storylines bruce booked in the past?
When he had his most influence on creative ('92 to '98ish) it was he, Pat Patterson, and Vince who worked hand in hand. It's not like any of them were wholly responsible for any single thing. They worked collaboratively.

Starting in '97ish Russo became lead writer (but really got to exercise more control over the show on '98), and then in late '99 Kreski (the most unsung person in WWE history) took over. I'm serious about Kreski. WWF 2000 is the product at it's absolute peak and that was all on Kreski introducing insane concepts like storyboarding to create tangible and followable structure in storylines.

RIP Kreski the actual GOAT creative mind in wrestling history. Lead WWF to their best year ever to date once they freed themselves from Russo's crash TV nonsense. Russo leaving was the biggest blessing in WWF history.
