Bruce Lee-Inspired Crime Drama ‘Warrior’ Gets Cinemax Pilot

That was easily one of the best episodes of the show and one of the best episodes of TV I've seen this year . The murder of Jacob leading to the riot in Chinatown was all executed so well. The bleakness of the Irish attacking early, then the Hop Wei and Long Zii joining forces to take on the mob . Ah Sahm in one of the best Bruce Lee nods going HAM with the nunchucks and the action being shot doing daylight so you got a clear picture of what was going on.

Even the conversation between Mai Ling and Ah Toy (who still in bad shape ) was well done.

And next week in the season and most likely series finale we get the showdown between Ah Sahm and Leary .

That shyt was so ill the way he was mashing on them dudes with the nunchuks!!!!

Well, that brings the Cinemax era of action series to an end. Also the era of martial arts shows on TV with Into the Badlands, Wu Assassins (briefly) and Warrior holding us down

You can tell this was written as a season finale, because there were threads set up for a potential season 3 that will likely not happen . I know they announced awhile back, that Warrior would end up on HBO Max. Hopefully when it does, more people discover the show at least, even if it lead to another season.

The Ah Sahm/Leary fight delivered. That heart punch I thought it would kill him but he showed up at the table near the end. Buckley was playing chess not checkers, got Penelope outta here and into the looney bin. Glad the showed Zing, he's too good just to written off after his arrest.
