For example. Today, DUSSE PALOOZA X BRUNCH BOUNCE “one day only”.

Then there’s a big dancehall/afrobeats party at schimanski in Williamsburg.

I don't solely equate a poppin' atmosphere with just events l, its more than that...

If that was the case, my city has Roots Picnic & Made In America & Odunde

What I'm talking about is being in the residential neighborhoods & folks being outside on their porch or steps, bbq'ing on the sidewalk/in the street, block parties thrown by residents (not party promoters)...ppl on the main strip in your hood

I can't explain the energy but it's a residential energy not oh this event is poppin'

My old girl lived in the Stuy

Brooklyn was always dead to me for the most part...even in the summer

Harlem on the other hand was always rollin'

:manny:

I'm from Philly so I'm being unbiased
i felt the same way too, from the bean but yeah my boys down there only chilled in Harlem we barely went to bx or bk unless to go see family

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
That's a lie

I was in NYC every weekend for 3 yrs. Mostly all of BK was dead B...Flatbush, Canarsie, Ft. Greene, the Stuy, all that

I'd go to Lenox Ave & it was poppin like Crenshaw

:mjlol:

You def weren’t in Flatbush. Flatbush and dead do not go in the same sentence.

Forte Green is quite except Myrtle Ave.

Canarsie is a middle class West Indian hood. It’s mostly alive at night with backyard parties.

The Stuy isn’t dead at all. Especially Lewis Ave, Fulton St and Nostrand Ave.
