I was excited only for $22 but til I read about the reproduction backup. Mine is Sega Dreamcast model from Japan and the date is Aug 1999 so not Oct 2000

No look at the bottom of your dreamcast for a model number....If you have a 0 or 1 you are good, its only model 2s that have trouble, and those are very late in the lifespan, like 2000>I was excited only for $22 but til I read about the reproduction backup. If you have a 1999 japanese model you should be good to go.

Most def, I order from him on a frequent basis and he post very frequently on his facebook group page. Very quick shipping too, only took about 5 days for mine to get here.
