I wish he showed up LESS to be honest.... I don't need to see the champ every week, for what...the writing sucks, the product is stale...him not being involved with that makes his appearances that much more special... Quality appearances over quantity any day for me...it would be like seeing Floyd Mayweather every week on espn Friday night fights...imagine how unspecial his ppvs matches would be

If the show can continue for 3 months without a champion at all, what’s the purpose of the champion? If the belt is everything it’s supposed to be, the show should stop, right? His title run made the belt irrelevant

Chael Sonnen, who knows a thing or two about drug testing, said this fight might not happen.

Brock has to get back into the USADA pool...which would mean he'd be basically suspended for the next 6 months. So that fight probably can't happen until January.

Daniel's retiring by March of next year. He said he wants to fight twice before he retires. If he loses a title defense @ light heavy before he gets to fight Brock, ain't nobody gonna wanna see that sheit.

I doubt this fight happens. It's gonna take some Gawd-tier string pulling from Dana/WME to get this fight to happen on that MSG card in November.

FAM only Daniel Bryan, the undertaker and Ronda rousey could you argue are bigger draws than brock

And what metric are you using to say Brock is a bigger dtaw than them? He had nothing to do with the new TV deal nor the Saudi deal. The few times he does show up a year, he doesn't make any significant difference money wise - even if a house he's in sells put, it's 1 show that doesn't generate the kind of $$$ that can justfy his contract - and he doesn't move merch in a way that puts him above anyone in a mayor way.

Brock's drawing power in WWE has been a complete fabrication for years now. It's pure perception - something Vince is obessesed by - and WWE treating him like he is a difference maker, even though they have nothing to show for it :dead:

BTW, I don't think anyone on the current roster is a difference maker to the level of calling him/her a legit draw for the company. Some people move the needle a little more than others, but current WWE functions in a way that doesn't need big draws to make big money, and they do their hardest to avoid having to deal with one.

It's a testament to Brock's business intelligence that even though the numbers may suggest he's no longer a draw in WWE, he's absolutely got both Vince McMahon and Dana White thinking that he's the biggest star in either business. Like him or not, that's brilliant.

He is officially winless in his last three UFC fights, he is under suspension for PED use, and here he is getting a title shot anyway in a PPV that should sell very well. His chances of actually winning are pretty low, but do you think he's concerned about that?

He isn't. He's a businessman, concerned about selling PPVs and making money. Much like Vince and Dana.

@Hoss :salute: Where you been brother? welcome back!

Not an ounce of fat on this post.

I'm not even gonna read your whole post until you show me where I ever said Brock is a bigger draw than the three of them?

You right, I miss read :heh: point still stands though, there's no metric that can show Brock is a bigger draw than Rollins or Miz :dead:
