Brock Lesnar's next match set for WWE SummerSlam
Brock Lesnar’s next WWE match is set for next month’s SummerSlam event.
Dave Meltzer has confirmed that Lesnar will be back in the ring for WWE’s premiere summer show. It isn’t known who he will face. A five way elimination bout was originally set for Extreme Rules that would have determined the next contender for the Universal title, but that was cancelled. Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley, who were the first two announced for the bout, will instead battle in a singles match.

I only knew of that multi-man match because of YouTube clips. They made it sound like something Brock was gonna be in. I didn't know it was just for a contender. So what was the real life reason for cancelling it?
I've thought from the beginning that the cancellation possibly was another way to get the "Brock doesnt care about the fans" angle over. I don't think it'll work though, unless Brock really is gone for a long time.
To make it look like Brock really isn’t doing summerslam. HHH is one of Mike Johnson’s primary sources and planted that story to get the fans riled up a certain way. Brock’s final match has to be at summerslam if he’s fighting in January. As a businessman it makes no difference to him losing to Roman/Braun/Lashley and getting paid, and keeping the door open for more huge paydays after he retires from fighting again
