Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Going back and reading the responses..... I don't get why a lot people call it a "switch" when he started killing...

It's actually strange to me, that in comic worlds, there are good people like that. Imagine you're a kid, normal kid, nothing special. You're not the cool kid, but you're not terrorized either. But you do feel different, alone.. And you can probably see that something is a little off with you. The dad said he's never so much as had a cough or a scratch... All the sudden, out the fukking BLUE, you throw a goddamn lawnmower 200 yards. Then stop the blade with your bare hands. Then you realize, my parents ain't on the up and up either.. Oh they been lying all my life. Hold up I'm not even a human. I can do anything I want. I have superpowers!!

Not everyone would be like "Oh let me hone my powers for good." Especially cause this pops wasn't training him to be good all his life. He was yelling and shytting on him and really never wanted him. I haven't even mentioned the fact that the ship was talking to him prior to him even knowing he had powers. So he was already going crazy.. And he's a kid. Still he gave everyone the chance. Told them all to not tell on him.

Stop snitching or else :demonic: They didn't listen.

I couldn't imagine what my kid would be doing if he found out he had superpowers. I'd be under his damn thumb boy. Oh he ain't going to school. What would I say to him? Let somebody talk shyt to him. Pornhub.... That little nikka horny nikka would be flying right up on bytches like :youngsabo:

Looper (YOUTUBE),trued to make that last kill some type of bonding moment.

'He wanted to give his mom one more chance to see if he was really alone and the only one who could fly.'

5 :camby:'s

:gladbron:

That would have been a great plot twist if he let the mom go in the air and she stayed there floating with him like “yeah fool, I was the first one they sent to this planet to scout it before the invasion and you are way off script rookie.”

Finally watched this. Copped it from Redbox.

I’m happy about not having watching Any trailers for this beforehand. Even when this was in theaters I was only slightly interested. Honestly didn’t know Elizabeth Banks was in this.

It was a cool time killer but I agree with y’all saying they could’ve done more with the build up. I actually thought there would’ve been more of a “bullied at school” element there, including dude going up there to wreck shop. Though, if it’s a kid killing other kids in a high school setting, even without a gun, not sure that scenario would actually fly in a film.

Thought the mom would’ve legit been riding with her son til the end. Up til the end it looked that way.

I don’t know how much the trailer(s) actually showed, but this is a flick where they could easily make an equally :ohhh: and :merchant: trailer without actually showing “something.”

i enjoyed this enough, but it was one of those movies that just felt like deja-vu from start to finish. i know it's just Superman but something about the family, and the farm, it just felt like I've seen that movie numerous times. This happens every now and then with movies, where I'll watch it and think "hold up, have I seen this already?"
