This is what I am talking about with regard to the black capitalist class. NBA players did what we all wanted athletes to do since forever, they had a strike during the playoffs. That shyt is mindboggling to me and shows you how sick capitalism is because that was never mentioned.

And then LeBron and Obama told them to get back to work.
Yeah I don't want to get too into the LeBron stuff here because it doesn't need the derailment. But people who act like him and the NBA are doing things the right way are being bamboozled.

I'm a fan of the "Cut Man" from the old Open Line Show days when they were on KISS-FM.

The Cut Man and the Open Line team couldn't even maintain their second hour of the show when they arrived at WBLS. If I remember correctly, that is one of the reasons James Mtume left. So much for "working from within."

"Working from within" a structure simply benefits those who own and control the structure.
Its their fault that Black radio was sold?

WBLS is even Korean owned. They themselves complained that the station didnt back them, so how was that their fault?

if anything, seeing the troubles they experienced when UNDER BLACK OWNERSHIP, what makes you think a Black league would have a different experience? :dahell:

And it wasnt about the show’s experience. The Cut Man led the Madison Avenue initiative which git a lot of black folks jobs in advertising and it was through his boycotting. Thats the point of the video

I’m happy Flores did this but I still loathe the nfl. Black players are the ONLY people that can change this. Get a list of demands and then all black players sit down one Sunday. Make the owners meet those demands and pay them for the most day.

Pretty soon you're going to start seeing espn pieces about Riley and McVay and about how they can mentally recall any play they've ever called.

Just watch...
Too late…

That’s actually a true thing in regards to McVay. You’re years late :russ:

There have been several videos and articles about how he remembers all plays, even what defenses he went against even back to his Redskins days.

So, there will always be this perpetual song and dance between a 70 percent Black labor force and nearly 100 percent White ownership.

Change was supposed to occur after Kaepernick and it didn't (and never will) for the same reasons.

Sure things will change. We just got on-paper equal rights maybe 50 years ago, it's going to take time for black billionaires to start showing up in enough numbers to buy a lot of sports franchises.

Unfortunately this shyt happens all too often in various fields. Unless he has pure proof like contract signed and W-2s, these orgs can just claim plausible deniability and say :beli: was just hearing shyt through heresay

Doesn't matter where he heard it from since the news was true. Plus, he's not some nobody, he's closely tied to all parties

Kats either slow or got low brain cell counts or don't know the history of the league to not realize this is the usual with the racist NFL.

I went over this shyt about 50 million times on this site about the league and few listened.

Once again. This is a league that didn't have a black referee until the 80s. This is a league that didn't have a black head coach until 1989. This the same league that had the brotha Ozzie Newson being a defacto GM of the browns/ravens for years, but refused to give him the GM title until 2002 (when he became the first black GM in the leagues history).

This the same got damn league where Robert Kennedy the then Attorney General in 1962 had to threaten the Redskins owner that he would revoke the team's lease on their stadium if they didn't integrate and sign black players. Or how about this the same league where players like Reggie White and other players had to literally sue the league in the 90s so that players could have free agency for all players.

The NFL has literally been decades behind the NBA and MLB when it came to having its first black referee, HC and GM and other forms of progress.

Fools keep forgetting the only reason we have the Rooney Rule and the swell of black coaches in the 2000s was because the great Johnnie Cochran threatened to sue the NFL due to the lack of black head coaches.

This shyt is really a reflection on the last 3 black generations who refuse to stand on their square and boycott anything (besides some bull shyt 1 day black out) unlike the black boomers and previous black generations who understood that every step black folks made to create progress. Meant that you had to continue to fight to keep them doors open cause racist would adjust and try to shut the doors of progress. But you got dumb ass gen X, millennials and zoomers thinking that once you create progress the battle is over. Or they too lazy to do shyt cause they too busy with shiny shyt, social media and consuming shyt like some bunch of mindless idiots.

There is no reason that you got black folks who sat on their asses the last 4 years after Kap and while the number of black head coaches has dwindled to damn near nothing and didn't even attempt to boycott this got damn league en masse. Yet jokers got the nerve to say they ain't they parents and grandparents. Yet it was your parents and grandparents who actually had no problem boycotting and protesting for months and years for basic issues.

Anyway coach Flores got this shyt in the bag. The league will pay him a cool 20 to 30 mill and make this shyt go away cause trust he got receipts and a nice paper trail on them hoes.

But in the end this shyt won't end till black FANS not black players say enough is enough. When the black fans say enough I am not buying the league pass, spending money to go to a game, buying madden or hell supporting companies who endorse the NFL unless they get their shyt together.

As I said with Kap. If black folks wanted Kap to be back in the league all they had to do was boycott Nike, Under Armor and some of those companies that endorsed the NFL. Plus stop buying league pass, spending money to go to games and buying madden. After that shyt them companies would have came to the NFL and said ya'll better fukking put Kap on a team as a back up..cause you fukking up our money.

Never forget one of the main reasons black folks have civil rights today and all them bills were passed in the 60s was because companies went to the politicians and said hey this boycotting and protesting is messing up our money. Yeah I know you racist and the people who support you are racist. But, I am the one who pays for your campaign and I am the one who stuffs your pockets with money. So you will do as I say and make sure we can continue to make money.

The NFL union is similar to the NBA union. It's top heavy. The NBA union does shyt according to the whims of Bron and CP3. The NFL union doesn't have a star player that cares enough to be that dude for it. It should be Pat and Burrow and Allen, but I don't see any of them popping off to get changes done. The owners were scared to fukking death that Pat was going to boycott before last season and he didn't. He just made a video.

No one is leaving money on the plate. It's similar to the HBCU thing. Cats keep throwing it out, but you can't expect a kid, or anyone else, to sacrifice for your ideals. It's finally possible for an HBCU to get the same level of visibility as a PWI so it's worth it now, but there ain't another league on the level of the NFL.

Their needs to be infrastructure in place before anyone starts throwing out the hypothetical black league because ain't no guarantee black owners would be any better than the white ones. They'd just be black.

U see this in the music industry. These black record label companies ain't no different than the white ones
