it almost sounds like you don’t think black people know what’s best for themselves :mjpls: I feel like I’ve heard similar sentiments somewhere before…
Every race of people is subjective to political and societal brainwashing both through fear and coercion. American liberals made a deal with Black Americans in the 60’s,70’s and 80’s that they would give them basic human rights in exchange for them not causing political disorder. Those that caused political disorder were killed or imprisoned and those that kept their heads down and stayed on the capitalist path did well. So the choice was clear. Most however ended up in poverty conditions that would horrify most people in 1st world countries.

You seem to claim that somehow not voting for Bernie saved this class of people when Black southerners are by an large fukked with their local leadership majority wise being white supremacists and their economic status declining rapidly.

I asked you a question btw. What was Bernie’s charade?

If black voters are brain washed then what are white voters?

Since you aren’t American you seem to be missing the point. That point being southern democratic primaries have a higher concentration of black voters. It’s not that the needs of black Americans are drastically different in South Carolina vs Michigan and Arizona.

The charade being that he was going to mobilize a youth voter revolution less concerned with racial politics and more concerned with class politics. He gambled and lost, twice.

Your average Northern Black American is not being governed by open white supremacists who without federal protections would institute Jim Crow laws immediately. This is at the for front of Southern Black political thought. Only protecting what they have. There is no vision of a future of progress.

Let me ask you, so you truly believe neo-liberalism is going to solve the endemic poverty in the Black community primarily in Southern states?

Are we going to lie to ourselves that things aren’t getting worse every day?

As I said, fear of losing federal protections against their white supremacist masters retaliation. It’s a rational fear to be fair. I wasn’t there as the civil rights leaders bodies piled up and Black organizations were systematically dismantled. They were there. My grandma lived through that era.

However, if you think things are going in an upward trajectory in the Black community, especially as globalism sooner or later is going to kick down that door. That we don’t need a drastic solution the clock is ticking, you aren’t living in reality.

Who is making this claim? You previously claimed that black folks only want to preserve what they have then suggest they’re fighting for neoliberalism which is a conservative moving underscored by its drier to actually take away rights and protections.

One of the most disingenuous parts of the discourse around Bernie is when folks refuse to hold him accountable for running a poor campaign.

y’all do know he admits he didn’t run a good campaign in 2020 right?

Clinton: “she should have campaigned in the Midwest and win over working class white voter ex it wasn’t enough just have policies that would help them, you have to meet them where they are.”

Bernie: “southern black people are too dumb to vote in their own best interests.”

Bernie did lie. He was talking about executive orders like he was King George to the point where he was making the entire Democratic Caucus look like they were powerless and simply didn't want to do things. Now, we see, it's not that easy and bernie bros still think the problem is the guy at the top.

The bernie bros were trained to eschew electoralism and adopted an anti-system critique. Then when they failed they didn't do anything to win elections but adopted a purely adversarial and contrarian viewpoint to the system.
This is actually :wow:

And @Toussaint :picard:

They’re still out here acting like he would have been able to get away with more than Biden was able to. :mjlol:

Like he would somehow be immune of the political realities that all liberal policies face.

And then, you got folks in here acting like it was just black folks who rejected Bernieism. :mjlol:

And @Toussaint :picard:
Bernie started the "rigged" bullshyt when his ass failed to secure delegates, failed to campaign in key demographics and areas, failed his messaging, failed to properly understand the system and complained endlessly even more the SECOND time.

fukk that dude man. Just wasted an entire fragile coalition ...for what? Tweets? Had YouTubers scared to even tell their audiences the truth. Now Pakman and TYT and Seder are out here just admitting all that third party shyt was nonsense and telling people to be realistic. Even got Kulinski and Krystal Ball acting fukking normal.

We wasted years with that bullshyt. I fukkin hate it all and I'll never forget or forgive Bernie for that.

If Bernie had won in November 2020, we would have LOST the run-offs in Georgia for two US Senators. Period.

And that assuming he would even win the general in which case we'd have DEFINITELY lost those two senate seats.

I dont think anyone wants to deal with that reality.

The never-trump republicans would EASILY vote for Trump over Bernie. They're institutionally incapable of voting for a fukking avowed socialist.

They lack the fukking accountability of their words and framing.

The same reason Pete can't run is the same reason Bernie didn't win...the masses won't fukking support them. Tim Scott cant get off the ground cause dont even know if he likes women!

Like what are these motherfukkers talking about??????

They never accept fault or admit error.

I literally posted contemporaneous articles, videos and social media posts showing how they lied about their positions and how they attacked Elizebeth warren in REAL time...and they're fukking DENYING it!

The online left was cancerous to ANY negotiation or dissent. Bernie won one state then it was all "bend the knee" type shyt.

They even tried to say the DNC was corrupt when Biden shifted the states around to make South Carolina first! ...as if that shyt is handed down from the 10 commandments to shift away from Iowa and New Hampshire! :gucci:

It’s disrespectful to state the truth about the general decay of the Black community in the United States? I hope you are merely being disingenuous and we don’t have to start pulling out statistics?

this is false and ignorant.

So white supremacist leaders in the south aren’t attempting to reinstitute Jim Crow like conditions in much of the South?

Who is making this claim? You previously claimed that black folks only want to preserve what they have then suggest they’re fighting for neoliberalism which is a conservative moving underscored by its drier to actually take away rights and protections.

Black folks? I said old Southern Black folks. And yes voting for status quo democrats is fighting for neoliberalism.

Oh you’re one of these guys. :francis:

Again are you being disingenuous or do we have to start pulling out statistics?
You aren’t here now.
Born and raised 99% of my life in America. I fail to see what this has to do with anything. Well, living and visiting countries where Bernie style policies are the norm and 15% of the population isn’t living in third world conditions has definitely colored my perspective, yes.

Your post is one big series of strawman. :mjlol:
Ok so explain how you believe electing Kamala Harris is going to effect the course of the Black community in the United States?
