The point of my original post you replied to was connecting it to what’s going on in Europe.

Despite years of seeing what Brexit is, could, and will do. How inept the politicians who pitched it were. They and the Bannon right are still gaining power in the EU.

So the idea that the same right wing populism is on the way out and taking Trump with it isn’t panning out. Be prepared for a mixed judgment here as well. Especially if we’re depending on the Conservative, independent in certain states to swing forcefully back the other way.

Especially a year out when Trump and is cronies haven’t played their slimey cards to re-elect him yet.
that's because the reason these white people support far right politicians is emotion and not policy. failed policy doesn't matter because policy smolicy, tell me what you're going to do about those people that don't look like me. it's why there are so many fraudsters and all around criminals leading the movement like that tommy robinson cretin (aka andrew mcmaster, aka paul harris, aka wayne king) that was just posted above.

The differences are much more nuanced here due to European politics.

Theresa May has been Prime Minister since 2016. I’m sympathetic to her because she was thrown into a shyt position by previous politicians and she ended up the scapegoat. She was crying because having the whole world hate you and to end your career in public disgrace like that is etherous. Shorty came into power 3 years ago. She’s not to blame for all of England’s problems. Every last problem he named was an issue in 2009 and it will be an issue in 2029.

She may not be the only one to blame but she was Home Secretary before 2016. Her party has been in power for nearly a decade and overseen austerity.

I don't think there's much of any correlation between MEP elections and a potential GE. The contextual factors involved are so wildly different that I think attempting to draw conclusions between the two I.E. state power VS EU federal representation and the state of the Labour party is a misguided effort. It is, however, yet another example of how the entire UK media apparatus is dedicated to dismantling any kind of non-Blairite Labour party through intentionally obfuscative tactics and outright falsehoods.

I don’t get this breh. Why can’t the media talk about Labour’s poor performance and why shouldn’t Corbyn be held to account for it? I agree the GE is different, but putting the negative press on a media plot rather than poor results seems like obfustcation on it’s own.
