Roy Moore barely lost his special election in 2017 and is wasn’t cause of the white people of Alabama “let’s ban all abortions” doing the right thing. Put that election in a presidential election year and the outcome being the same is in doubt.

The point of my original post you replied to was connecting it to what’s going on in Europe.Then shouldn't we truly be celebrating the fact that he was actually defeated all things considered?
The point of my original post you replied to was connecting it to what’s going on in Europe.
Despite years of seeing what Brexit is, could, and will do. How inept the politicians who pitched it were. They and the Bannon right are still gaining power in the EU.
So the idea that the same right wing populism is on the way out and taking Trump with it isn’t panning out. Be prepared for a mixed judgment here as well. Especially if we’re depending on the Conservative, independent in certain states to swing forcefully back the other way.
Especially a year out when Trump and is cronies haven’t played their slimey cards to re-elect him yet.
