Aside from his feud with Foley/Cactus Jack in 2000, which spawned the well-booked HitC and No DQ matches, I really can't think of any "great" encounters Triple Naitch has had.

The Three Stages of Hell with Stone Cold? Eh...I'd say it was a pretty lame conclusion booking-wise to the "Who Ran Over Austin" angle. Work-wise, I don't put it above the 2/3 falls with Jericho at Fully Loaded 2000.

There's also the triple threat with Benoit and HBK at Mania 20, but we all knowBenoit and HBKGOAT carried that.

This shyt is true. Bret Hart is a legend but goddamn relieving some of his matches are painful to watch. Some matches didnt age well at all. Atleast Triple H knew that whether it was the year 2000, 2002, 2012, or 2050, fans of any generation will enjoy a nice sledgehammer attack to the gut and a pedigree on thumbtacks over a stalling elbow drop from the middle rope.

:fukkery:

And why Bret Hart always being the technical wrestling police? Bret would be shyt with the talent pool of 2003 or today as well. Both HHH & Bret ate well off of being in the right place at the right time.

Lmao u can't be saying this with a straight face

East Falls Adelphia
vs rock backlash 2000
vs cactus jack rumble 2000
vs hbk summerslam 02
vs taker mania 27

I'll put these up with 95% of bret hart matches. What high profile matches does he have as good?

vs owen hart mania x
vs austin mania 13
vs bulldog, summerslam 92

Thats about it

FOH, Bret vs Hakushi is better than 97% of Triple H's matches

You know, when Bret says he doesn't think Triple H hasn't had a great match "ever", that's another part with him I have disagree on. And again, it is only Bret's opinion, and it's only based on Bret's critique on Hunter's style, which I detailed earlier.

And I think, and this is only speculation, that even though he doesn't show it or say it, he probably didn't like Triple H back in the day simply because of his association with HBK, whom Bret fukking despised.

However, if he still harbors any of that today, I think it's time for Bret to move on from that. He made amends with Shawn, why can't he do that with Hunter? But again, pure speculation on my part. :yeshrug:

Hitman may be correct about HHH's style in the ring. But HHH does have an innovative move = the Pedigree. Bret's finishing move was shared by the top guy in WCW, so his argument makes no sense.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the Hitman as a kid, but he's grown into a bitter ass old man.

Sting was using the move before Bret.
