A lot of what Bret says makes sense but there is one key problem with his thought on part timers...people pay more to see them than to see Cody or Owens. There is NO DENYING that Undertaker and Rocky are attractions at WM....the signs, the T shirt sales, everyone talking about them the night after. It's no lie or pretense.

A lot of that is because they don't build people properly.

If they'd build the Wyatts or Dean or Kevin Owens properly, they wouldn't have to drag Mark out from his crypt every Wrestlemania to get some ratings

Paul isn't wrong Hulk was the guy there when wrestling became wrestling you can talk about the attitude era and the uninflation adjusted numbers and the help of merchandise being sold on the internet but snme got like 30 million viewers at one point

On the bret comments he's half right WWE is doing a bad job of building up their every day talent but there will always be a desire to see these part timers perform the problem is they have been leaning on these nostalgia moments for way too long in the golden era and the attitude era they focused on the talent they had
