the problem with getting married in this age is you find women fall in two categories

1. Broke.
Theses types just arent good with money.
They vary from well meaning women to those who are just looking to use you.
If you can afford a broke well meaning broad they will be the most loyal to you...but you have to be able to afford it.
You also have to be solid enough to where she respects the fukk out of you and follows your lead.

2. Has money.
These types have their own money but they are used to doing things their own way.
Also, them having money doesnt mean youre going to save money because they probably also like to spend money (trips, clothes, etc...).
They arent going to go into their feminine unless they see you as far beyond what they are.

No kids, not married, not in a relationship. Last serious one ended about a year ago after two years time.

Since I’m 39, I’m just gonna use these next few years to create a new environment for myself for the years 50 and after. I pretty much told myself that’s the direction I’d take before my last serious relationship ended.

Takes too much energy to try to focus on finding someone. Women have always been around anyways, that’s why to focus on it isn’t what I should be doing.

While there are some things I could have done differently, I’m not mad at where I am. If I had kids when I was younger, chances are I’d be on a different course with different stresses, etc. not that I’d be mad at that, I can just say that the direction I’ve gone at least doesn’t involve anyone being dependent on me other than me and that means less stress the world over.

This is what I’m looking for, please enlighten me breh, working as a senior Devops engineer for the last 3 years and the bootcamp coders are lessening our value. Looking for a way out or a way up and away from these newly minted engineers

I think the worst part about waiting too late is it's hard to find someone willing to compromise, and for you to compromise as well. Two people set in their ways, living their lives how they want to for most of their adult lives; change is hard. I'd imagine it's a shock to the system to get on the same page with another person after going solo for so long. While I don't think marriage is for everyone, I think late 20's/early 30's is the perfect time to settle down.
