That's why I said you gotta check his older stuff and Thief is just James CaanIf your calling those movies masterpieces then I guess I've been sleeping. I'll put them on my to watch list. But everything after Heat was overrated to trash imo.

Didn't know that, Heat looks nothing like it
Sometime it feels like the camera shaking, i hate that shyt
Willie Nelson in that shyt too. That's why I said you gotta check his older stuff and Thief is just James Caan

Its like Tarantino said. Some directors "lose it" before they even knew they lost it.
It happens
Public Enemies should have been better though.
Public Enemies should've been incredible. As a fan of gangster flicks and crime flicks in general, shyt kinda hurt my soul because I was bored to death. All star cast, great director, good story..just didn't come together. Even had Channing Tatum in it
I actually thought the Tatum scene was dope. It wasnt historically accurate, but I thought ok this about to be some shyt.
The movie just needed some life to it. Bale's "Is that Dillinger?" and how he said it was almost The Dark Knight/Batman bad though.
I fukking HATE public enemies. One of my least favorite movie going experiences to date. The digital film looked fukking AWFUL, it looked like a soap opera at the theater I went to. Movie was boring as all fukk, I could care less about the characters. justPublic Enemies was so flat to me. Its in my blu ray collection because I like the history behind it, but its more style over substance. The Warren Oates' Dillinger movie is 10 times better than Public Enemies in telling Dillinger's tale.
