For the guys saying depression is just being complacent. What would you say about Robin Williams? Hugely successful and hard working, still struggled with depression.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 'normal' or average person has a touch of some mental issue. Western society isn't in tune with the natural human state on many levels.

I don't like telling people how to dress, but you can't stay calling your self "the Coli's resident emo" and expect to overcome depression.

Self fulfilling prophecy.
That's from 2 years ago bro

Haven't updated it

I haven't been deeply depressed in like 1.5 to 2 years

it's disgustong. Every few months this dude tal in but how depressed he is. How many years has it been? Get help because the coli psychologists can't do shot for you if you really have a chemical problem in your brain.

Man you should just jump rope 100 times every 3 fays. That always helped me.

Mab if u don't get your goofy as some pills :camby:

Dudes want attention and dudes are depressed. Dudes embrace the depression to get more attention. To feel like someone cares. we throw a pity party then they go back to making gay innuendo threads then go back to acting depressed after their gay threads flop.

It's sick. Get help.

I haven't made a depression post in months maybe even years.

I was heavily depressed in 2010, 11, 12 and half of 2013 hence the user title

I'm good now but this thread wasn't meant for trolls

And I've seen several shrinks before but it isn't worth the money. I feel like I paid people to listen to me talk and they basically regurgitate what I said back to me

The coli is the same thing but better...people actually share stories of how they overcame depression and I learn from it...also inspires me to try new hobbies etc

:ehh: Just kinda hard to take u serious based on the threads I've seen you on. Plus that nail polish line...

But glad u doing better. I had an ex that delt with depression and I can't help but think of "depressed" people as somewhat selfish, even if it's unintentional. Dragging people into your issues, the mood swings, constant drama. It's exhausting. It's funny bc the few times I've felt "depressed" no one would ever be able to tell. I like to deal with my own shyt I guess.

Depression does not equal complacent. But if you have depression and are complac, its a recipe for no good

You have to actively try to beat depression. Unfortunately the people who get depressed are usually procrastinators or are not very active. You have to take it head on so it doesn't develop into something you can't control. Exercise, hobbies, new goals, things you can do. Unfortunately its hard to motivate someone who is already depressed to do those things.
