Whats a hyped cologne that you think smells horrible?

for me its Ombre Nomade

I'd say 99% of hypebeasts don't live up to the hype, imo
But they usually smell nice, sometimes they're boring.

Or if it doesn't smell nice, it's just not really to my taste.

But these joints literally turn my stomach
  1. Narciso Rodriguez for Him Bleu Noir - If you like Gentlemen by Givenchy You'll love this - the hell you will...
  2. Franck Boclet - Cocaine - Tuberose bomb, hate it.
  3. Eros Flame - ooh gross.
  4. Invictus Aqua - chemical
  5. Eros EDT and EDP - Maybe Flame was a fluke, Chaos and Ash like it.... (garbage)
  6. Santal 33 - Dill Pickles
  7. The Ghost in the Shell (I know somebody here likes it, I copped when it first drop because Anime - metallic oranges is not for me)
  8. Red Tobacco - What the hell is this?
  9. Tobacco Oud Intense - let's just pour beaver extract all over this mug - prolly my most expensive and disappointing fragrance.

Yo, Idk what the fukk happend, but it don't smell ANYTHING like it smelled to me all the years I liked it. I loved that shyt cause it smelled like a plastic like coating, milk, and almost like a fryed out electronic.

shyt was mad niche to me in a good way.

For some reason now it smells like white flowers sprayed with Yuzu and that's it. :francis:

I have never had the scent of a fragrance change to my senses like that.

Your nose is broken (just fukkin with ya..but still what?)

Grabbed the Staff Summer Selection set from Ministry of Scent.

Balmy Days & Sundays: The name says it all. Soft, subtle honeysuckle drifts above clean green grass. Ineke, San Francisco
"Nostalgic childhood cloud-gazing in the Berkeley Hills. A picnic in Tilden Park as spring turns into summer." Antonia, co-owner

Fior di Chinotto: The Italian Riviera. Delicate chinotto blossoms, a spritz of mandarin and drizzle of golden honey. Abaton, Italy

"A radiant, honeyed citrus-floral perfect for warm, sunny days. Wear it with your favorite sundress." Chelsea, Assistant Buyer

Fischersund No. 8: Iceland evoked by a bracing blend of tart rhubarb, bright citrus and crisp pine needles. Fischersund, Iceland

"Walking through the tall trees and fresh air of an Icelandic forest on an overcast day, sipping fruity citrus tea in a stainless steel thermos. Invigorating." Jorgen, Fragrance Specialist

L'Air Barbès: Cool concrete and stone alleyways. Paris in monochrome, with a splash of citrus and a dash of ink. 19-69, Sweden
"A chalky hot sidewalk freshly sprayed with hose water. Inky pigments washing off paper. Cumin, orris and aldehydes, as if being described by a computer from 2008." Michael Ryan, Fillmore Store Manager

Orange X Santal: Juicy bitter orange, handsome aromatics, grounding woods and oakmoss. Essential Parfums, France

"A crisp and creamy citrus, with verdant herbal facets; a comforting fresh aura that leaves you relaxed and primed for a nap in the summer sun or a lively brunch date." Saúl, Valencia Store Manager(I had to get this one from Scent Split)

Sonic Flower: A cool, clear blend of orris with just-bloomed jasmine, cashmere woods and skin musks. Room 1015, France

From these I need a full bottle of L'Air Barbes and Orange Santal. I grabbed a 5mL Scentsplit of both along with BDK Citrus Riviera, 19-69 Capri, and Mancera Cosmic Pepper.

Also picked up FBO's version of Perseus and Prada Luna Rossa Sport. Not gonna lie I really like Perseus but aint no way its worth what PDM is selling it for.

the fruity batches smell good, but the smoky one is awful. or at least, nowhere near the GOAT status it seems to have achieved

the Aventus cologne is the best, or whatever its called. the gray bottle instead of black

I guess I got the smoky batch, because I was disappointed and returned it.

I ended up buying chanel coromandel.

*This smells nice. Nothing special. This mostly a spicy cardamom with a kinda like orange champagne twist. Ain't nothing "extreme" about this. Highly overpriced. :francis:

This brand so pretentious that it doesn't even list the size of the bottle. :dead:

It's gonna be hot and sunny today so I'm wearing my Versace Eros

gotta swing past the mall today to pick up some shoes I ordered
:whoo:It must be not that hot. That stuff is brutal to wear in the heat. I live in Atlanta though so once it gets past 85 degrees I have to switch over to aquatics and freshies. My sotd is aventus x original vetiver.

any of yall mess with Axe Body Spray when you don't wear cologne.

Axe Dark Temptation smells great, and I wanna try their vanilla chocolate too or whatever it's called
Just cause u a fellow NYer and I use this as well ima put u and everybody on real quick. It's some shyt called Gentle Elsatys. Spray that first then finish off with some sprays of the Dark Temptation....I used many colognes, this combo gave me the most love by far. Thank me later.
