I got like a million, big fan of cologne. I think every dude in here is. And I got a lot of scents. I try to wear something different every day, usually one before the gym, one after the gym. At this point, I could go a year without repeating a scent.
Not directed at you, I try to drop my rules as much as possible, for people that lurk
- Realistically, you need good soap, good shampoo, good conditioner, good deodorant, good toothpaste, good mouthwash, and good dental health more than you need cologne.
- Never blind a buy a bottle
- Buy a decant (a sample bottle that they poured out from the big bottle into a small bottle - 2,3,5,10 and 30ml) at a place like decantX or Perfuuum, or Scent Split
- Only buy the bottle after you finish the decant
- And only buy the bottle on discount (with the exception of a few brands (like Chanel), everything goes on sale at 10-50-80%)
- Bottles last forever. My bottle of Eau Fraiche lasted for 7 YEARS. I still got Tom Ford's Noir Extreme from when it first came out, got like 50% of it left.
- IMO, your cologne collection should be mostly decants, because you're not gonna LOVE everything, even if you like most things.
- When it comes to females - cologne is the finishing touch. If you got your gym game popping, your clothes game popping, and you're being social - hoes will flock to you, and use your cologne as an excuse, not as a reason to start to talking to you.

Middle Eastern Flavor
- Oud for Glory - It smells like "oud". First one I ever put my nose on. POWERFUL, Not for freshman, strictly for live men.
- The One - Royal Night, Mysterious Night, Luminous Night - all 3 got rose, saffron, dates, oud,
- Pour Homme Oud Noir - a designer oud, not as strong as Oud for Glory, but definitely smells woody/medicinal. As if Vicks Vaporub smelled good.
On a Personal, stuff I wear just for me
- Tabac 28 - wet tobacco, so it can have that stank to it.
- Musc Ravageur - spices, strong. Good, but strong
- Tobacco Oud (Tom Ford) - Tobacco and Oud, comes together to be awesome
- Habanos - Wet tobacco
- Tabac (Aaron Terrence Hughes) - a like a diff tobacco oud.
- Royal Tobacco (Amouage) - tobacco and frankincense. Smoking a pipe in the middle of Christmas Mass.
I was thinking about this yesterday cause I saw it on YT.
If I could only have 1 fragrance for every occasion -
Tobacco Vanille (and I would buy the $10 body oil, not the $300 real version, because it only needs to sit close to the skin and last long for work and dates.)
2 Fragrances?
- TV (The Real Version) - for clubbing and dates and (running errands in the cold weather on the weekend, bump into a broad at the mall or something)
- Givenchy Gentleman EDP - for everyday at work
3 Fragrances
- TV For Dates
- Tobacco Blaze for Clubbing
- Gentleman EDP for Everyday
4 Fragrances
- TV For Dates
- Tobacco Blaze for Clubbing
- Gentleman EDP for Everyday in the Cold
- Bleu de Chanel Parfum for Everyday in Warm Weather
After 4 fragrances - I think about the Weather and Activity. So Spring Dates and Winter Work Days and Fall Clubbing, and Summer Errands.
Then 1-2 for "special occasions" - like weddings, hitting a play/opera/art gallery etc.
And then 1-2 just because I like the way they smell, even though they probably don't work for most situations I find myself in.
Meanwhile the actual me got like 60+ bottles, and 250+ 5ml samples, lol
