Actually, there are a lot of PC exclusives starting to come out of Europe, I expect that number to increase in the future.

And, it's just different, there are more mature (complex) games on PC like Shogun Total War that you won't find on consoles. The indie games on PC like Dear Esther are a nice change of pace as well, going by your posts you'd actually like PC gaming.

I have a 360 and PS3 but the mods really put the PC over the top.

Yes the ports look better but like i said they dont look that much better to me where its to the point that im gonna drop a ton of cash on a PC. Ive played Arkham City on both 360 and PC, and no the leap was not enough to buy a PC. A lot of people feel this way. I just cranked up Castlevania on PS3 this week for the 1st time and those graphics look damn good to me. Sure they could be sharper but they dont make me wish for another gen any sooner.
why are we saying we have to spend $800-$1000+ on a PC though? Don't we all have a computer at home or two? Its basically upgrading a system that you already would have spent $500 on anyway, and if you got a mac desktop, you would be spending that grand anyway
Nope, im laptop all the way now. Last desktop i had was a Pentium 4 HP i bought for college back in 2001.

All depends on the port, Max Payne 3 on the PC is 30gigs and has Dx11 features, it looks worlds better than the console versions.
The difference isnt big enough to me to warrant paying 600-800 bucks to play a game i can already get.
you keep throwing that number out there...you can game on a $300-$400 PC.
The upfront cost is nothing. I paid $7.50 for arkham asylum when people on the ps3/xbox 360 were paying $50.
cant use the renting angle anymore, those are crippled right now with the "online passes" going on.

Im gonna buy a console anyway because they have the exclusives i want, point blank. So if i already have a console i see no purpose in paying additional hundreds of dollars to play games i can already play.

Ive had the 360 the longest, most of my friends are on 360, and i dont think the graphics are that bad. Im not gonna pay 400 bucks for a PC to play with people i dont know, on games i can already get for the 360. Mass Effect 3 looked good on 360 to me, when i booted it up i didnt not start thinking about how much better the PC version looked.
