Brehs, are we ever going to have a SERIOUS discussion about the PHOENIX SUNS and Kevin Durant?

KD was a monster in 2021 almost single handedly carrying Nets to probably finals (if not for stepping on the line) and then pretty carrying Team USA to gold medal.

After that he got worse. And his attempts at forming super team have been sloppy to say the least.

KD, Booker and Beal :mjlol: almost as bad as Pierce and KG Nets.

I told you that I expect you to elevate your posting to a higher level, only for you to follow up with YouTube links featuring Kendrick Perkins and Charles Barkley.

I regret believing in your potential and am going to ignore you now.

Please do, but those are his peers and they are in lock step of what they expect out of his talents.

What’s his next move? Who gets him and for what price?
:patrice:
He has one year so that depresses the haul. Let’s say contenders only. Cavs, Knicks, Celtics are out. I doubt the Pacers would do it unless they finally rid themselves of Tuner and give up a young guy or two. Pistons could be interesting but if I were the pistons, I wouldn’t mess up my vibe for one year and a shot at a title.

OKC isn’t going over the apron and already have their big three. Would the Nuggets give up MPJ and fodder of a one year shot? I’d say yes. Lakers no. Warriors no. Wolves no. Grizzlies no. Clippers??? I don’t know what the salary matches would look like but could be interesting. Is harden cool with KD?

Which leave me with the most logical spot for KD next season. The Rockets. Rockets have the pics and young players for the best package for the Suns rebuild. All those players would thrive with playing time. Green could be an all star. Green and Smith JR would probably get it done. Houston keeps its defense and has a closer.

It's a really good fit. They have the young guys and can make the $$$ match with the FVV contract, plus Houston can give the Suns their own pick back this year.

Suns get: Their own 2025 pick back, another 1, Reed Sheppard, FVV's contract
Rockets get: Durant

How would Green thrive with the Suns when Booker and Beal there? They all play the same position and they all need the ball to be effective.

KD leaving the warriors might go down as one of the dumbest moves in sports history- he thought he was gonna pull a gotcha on Steph n em and win a chip by himself only for it to backfire tremendously and leave the door open for them to win one without him instead- now his legacy is in the mud :unimpressed:

Great player- horrific GM and doesn’t understand what it takes to build a championship contending team
You might have a point from the fan/media’s perspective but KD is GOAted amongst his peers

Many prominent faces today list KD as one of their favorite players (Anthony Edwards, Wemby, Chet, the list goes on)

KD been playing with at least 2 HOF caliber teammates for 15 years

Injuries, bad luck, and management stopped him from having at least 4 rings

The excuses people make for the human Ponzi Scheme KD is fascinating
The KD caping on this forum is something to behold.
It NEVER stops

No matter how many times he shows his hoe ass these nikkas still be believing in him :wow:
