Honestly, I have never asked a guy how much he made but if he is constantly complaining about not having enough or ask me to borrow money all the time then he's not someone I would want to be with. Basically it doesn't matter how much you make, it's what you do with what you make that matters. However, I've yet to meet a guy making less than $20 that wasn't always crying broke or wanting a loan.

Yes definitely. We could get married too, but we would not have kids until we are financially set. Plus if he is a hardworking men he will more than likely find other ways to grow economically. Personally If I were making $40,000+ a years and my man making $40,000+ I would prefer for both of us to live off of $45,000 (or love off of one income) and put the rest in a savings account. That's $105,000 saved up. If you guys don't have a house you can put a good down payment, invest to secure residual income, start a small business, and put the rest in a savings for emergencies.

I respect that, I hate when a woman asked how much a man makes up front it skewers exceptions a bit. If you can go out have a good time and all bills are being paid on time it shouldn't be that big of a deal.
