some women are gonna complain even if a cat makes over a million dollars anually.....some women are gonna complain about a ninja who makes 15 an hr.....some will complain if you fit all the criteria that they are looking for....it's just in their nature....no shots, just observations.

it is low, shows a man doesn't have a career but some jobs actually like paying low wages to their employees. Money is the biggest issue and it's just gonna drive a knife between men and women in the future. America wants low income married people tbh, they don't wanna pay people 60k and up when a dude from overseas can do it for pennies on the dollar.

real talk, I hope I live long enough to see america 40 years from now.

The way the job market is going, it's hard to find decent work with decent pay. I know a lot of people with jobs and employed but not a ton with a lot of high wage work though.

And excuse me ladies, but I don't really buy that crap about you sticking by a man so long as he's got goals, ambition and a plan.

I'm sure some women do. But the 26 year old guy working the overnight shift at the supermarket, making $8.50 an hour, living at home while he goes to community college in the day time and has no car is NOT getting much play from a 26 year old woman who just got out of a relationship with a guy who makes $65,000, has a car and took her to Negril last winter.

:sas1:
Hmm I just wanted to comment on this. Of course the guy working the night shift isn't dating the 65k woman. The 65k man isn't dating the girl working at the supermarket overnight either. It's the friggin supermarket. That type of job has has less perceived status than for example a guy working as a CNA overnight or a girl working at Express. I've met high powered/salaried women dating male social workers, and high powered men dating make up artists at Ulta. Still the partners are usually in school or in transition- where they are at is not their end game. It's about perceived status. Also, men who make a lot usually marry and date women with the same socio economic power with financial or social benefits. But in general, highly educated men and women marry highly educated partners. Like marries like. It's only on thecoli where these guys with certs making 6 figures are dating girls who work at Burger King. :ld:

Perceived status is bullshyt.

There's a coli member here making like 70 grand a year driving a fukkin limosine.
But the second he tells women he drives a limosine he gets thrown to the bushes.

Meanwhile another guy making that same 70 grand but as an IT worker gets looked at as a guy with ambition?
What could he possibly provide for a woman that the limo driver can't?
Nothing. But women need that vanity. They can't be seen to be with a "limo driver".

And you're off on the 65k man not dating the woman. Men don't operate with that same vanity the way women do. By and large, that is.
We don't give a fukk what you do for a living so long as it's not something scandalous or illegal.

The first thing a dude asks another dude about his woman is what she looks like.
The first thing a woman asks another woman about her man is what he does for a living.

:mindblown: so what you're saying is, it's perfectly fine to judge a woman by her looks but it's not ok to judge a man by his occupation. How are you going to be shallow then judge someone for being shallow lmfao

you said the first thing a man asks is a how a female looks as if that's any better than asking what someone does. :dead:

Men look for women they are attracted to and like, then they mold her into what he wants her to be for him.

Women look for men who are finished products with money and status and hope he isn't corrupted by his power and success...ergo...an "a$$hole"

Looks aren't everything to a man, because men can work with what they see.
Women generally are unwilling to work with any man who isn't already at the finish line.

Just is what it is, b.

Concerning the limo driver, Depends on the woman. Plus that's one woman, where is this guy? can you @ him? Does he talk about other romantic pursuits? You can't latch onto a couple of failed relationship attempts from ONE guy that he mentioned ONCE. He's probably doing fine right now, but you're going to latch onto one story and act like that's his life ALL the time when it isn't. And anyway, it's not like 70k men have 100% success with 100% of the women they want either, breh.

And i'm not reaching. I'm saying in my experience and the people i've met, men with money date women with money/education or who come from money/education. Men marry JUST AS MUCH for social class/family status as women. You marry people with similar backgrounds. Uptown Mike isn't going to marry white trash Hayley. He's going to marry middle class Mary who comes from a good family. If you've got a 70k man dating below his socio-economic class, again there's something in that relationship that isn't obvious to YOU, the average guy on the street who knows jack about the relationship. For example, the girl has a trust/inheritance or marrying into her family brings him wealth or position, the girl is in school and the position is temporary, or the guy comes from a similar background and has more in common with her than the women in his newfound status. There's simply more to it.

And anyway, why is it okay for men to go off of looks? In your opinion, why is that better than going off of occupation? Both are evolutionary relevant to mating and survival. So what makes one more valid than the other

I don't remember the guy's screen name to tag him directly.
However, I spoke in generalities and I think they're true.

If you're going to point out that not every man or woman fits into a certain box...well congratulations.
We kinda knew that already.
