There's a big difference between someone having a temporarily low paying job going through school and someone who has no skills working a 10-15/hr job.

Depending where you stay, 15.00 an hour is a decent salary. I have a few associate whom made less than that for over 25 years and were able to retired comfortably without having to deal with the burden of owing money to a lender. There are state jobs that start less than 15.00 dollar with state pension plan that can help employee to increase their saving for retirement.

I make $11, that is not enough to survive in the bay area without being on food stamps and having no cable or car note unless you want to live in the hood or outskirts. Rent in undesirable places cost $1000 for a 1 bedroom apartment. A lot of yall live in the south and dont realize how little $10-15 gets you on the coasts.

Ac transit is hiring temp service workers Breh. They start at 19 an hour. You clean and fuel buses.
Google ac transit careers and look for the service worker position. They too out at 23 an hour if they hire you full time.
