What about them? It should be business as you usual for people doing it the right way. I'm not saying give the DACA folks automatic citizenship or permanent residence status. But ending a program that will directly lead to them being immediately deported back to countries some literally have no ties to. They don't even speak the language. They know no one there. The only home they consciously know is the States. friends, family, jobs, school, home, all here. They grew up just as American as you or I except they were not born here. Really makes little sense and is beyond cruel.

No, I'm black. I've posted extensively on immigration before. It isn't in me or my family's interests, so I'm against it.

Birthright citizenship is a major incentive for folks to attempt to immigrate to this country illegally and/or engage in birth tourism ("anchor babies"). I want to reduce the flow as much as possible, and get deportations > inflows ASAP.

I support a new law stipulating that if one of your parents is an American citizen or legal permanent resident, then you're American as well. But no longer does a wealthy Chinese woman get to hop on a plane 8 months pregnant, plop out a baby on US soil and grab him a birth certificate in the state of CA (thereby guaranteeing the child in-state tuition at CA universities), and then jet back home with a ready-made conduit for wealth acquired via corruption to be secured (bank accounts opened in the name of the now "American" child, real estate purchased in his name, etc.) Nope, not playing that game anymore.

Yea, they're trying to make people feel bad by using the children to play on our emotions. It's sick when you think about it. Because they're the ones manipulating their children for their personal gain. Putting their kids into a situation that they know could end up with them getting deported when they could've went about it legally from the start and saved their kids from the pain they're going through now. But noooooooo it's the states fault. It's America's fault. Not your parent who snuck in illegally. I always kinda wanted to live in Paris or London but I'm pretty sure I can't sneak over into England or France with my pregnant girlfriend and use that baby to anchor myself there illegally. They'd throw me and my family out eventually. Kid included but we're supposed to put up with it.
