Read somewhere that Beal would refuse the NTC if ayton was apart of the deal for him. That NTC really put the wizards options to a minimal. That's almost robbery they got that package back for Beal.
this is some of the all time worst asset management we’ve seen in the nba by the Wizards. how can this even happen in 2023? how can you allow yourself to be so poorly managed with all the resources these teams have at their disposal?

It's funny how they didn't tank this year, but it looks like they will be tanking in one of the worst draft classes since 2000
Denver kind of showed this past season that depth isn't necessarily needed as Bruce Brown was essentially their best bench player the entire season and they didn't play a backup big for the majority of the playoffs. Granted, I'd say it's more of the exception than the norm, but still.
