DeMar DeRozan is also not on the floor and the team by and large this season is buying into Donovan's style of play.

They're 1st in pace, 3rd in made 3 pointers and they also lead the league in rebounding (Giddey is good on the glass that also bolsters up your defense)

Caruso isn't overrated, the Bulls had much more of a veteran team mindset last season and adopted a play style that was conducive to their best player at the time. You remove that out of the equation and the team plays completely different.

He's on a 15 minute restriction and he's not the same level of defender as before for obvious reasons.

He's still shooting very well from 3 and excellent with the passing and just playing smart ball
