Kyrie didnt get paid every day. He was suspended multiple times for things not basketball related. The only games he didnt show up for were the games THE NETS told him not to. Joe Tsai fukked that up. If he think thats supposed to make someone go above and beyond then thats on him. His teammates understand so thats all that matters. He made no comments regarding the Jew shyt. That was essentially why he was suspended, for not giving a comment on why he posted the link. he preferred to be out there but wasnt allowed. He was told he could not play when he did not take the vaccine. He wanted to play, he was told not to. So its not about "what the Nets supposed to do". Its replying to Jacque mentioning him not being there for games and me saying "what Kyrie supposed to do if they tell him not to play". Injury happens in a physical game. You get injured on the job, you still get paid due to being injured doing the job. This isnt rocket science. There is no indication that any games he missed was because Kyrie simply chose to not show up when he was allowed and able to. Theres some merit to him being gone during his kids birth but I recall it being reported that he told teammates but didnt tell Nash and the coaching staff.
