You are correct. He has exercised his option to be free of the Nets and to be traded. He has given the Nets a week to figure out a trade.

Marks and Tsai have, with their piss poor negotiating, put themselves in a position where they will not get the best possible trade for a player who has been top 15 this year.

That's why I said fukk the Nets. They are letting bullshyt get in the way of business. That's just my opinion.
Other teams are having hesitation of offering Kyrie the full for 4 year guaranteed extension as well, so it's not just the Nets.

If that contract was as a bad as his camp says it was, then leak it out to the public as for all we know it could be the 4 years with the last year being contingent on them winning the championship, which they could give to him even if they don't like Boston did Horford.

Lots of teams will have a problem, but the Lakers, the clippers and the sun's seem ready to pay him. The best scenario is a luxury tax ease. That isn't helping KD.

If I’m the Clippers I’d try to keep Mann at all costs but I’d understand why the Nets would insist on him coming back. The Clippers would need to bring in another wing from somewhere though
I don't think a deal can happen if Mann's not included and Clippers realize this is their best and only shot at A.)solving their PG issues when plays B.) winning period so I doubt they haggle too much

A Clippers deal makes sense because they actually have decent young players we can use next to Claxton, Cam, Sumner. They've got the same pick situation as the Lakers but the players are worth it at least, which is what the Nets probably care more about since we owe Houston picks, so we can't bottom out and just take picks back for KD or Kyrie

You sure about that because reports say that the Lakers were hesitant to do it as well. Kyrie at this point is untrustworthy to even believe that he would sign an extension with those teams after the season is over.

In fact, you had Coli posters on this very site insisting that Kyrie could care less about the money and would retire when it is in fact about the money.

@jj23 @Squirrel from Meteor Man and @inndaskKy I appreciate your commitment to being the 3 nikkas supporting this clown why the entire actual living in NY Nets contingent black people in here are over this Nîgga. It’s actually an interesting case study in how far people will go and the logical leaps they will take to defend someone they like for their talent. I don’t get where anyone on here gets off disagreeing with actual New Yorkers :deadrose:. nikkas who never frequent a Nets thread trying to get fake militant points.

If guys who perfectly clean off the court resumes who are not known to do shyt like take random 2 week saboticals from the team with no contact - have clauses or took less than the full max they can get - why is this guy so different? Moreover, he’s not the first or last all star to have to play out a contract year to get an extension. The Bulls just wrangled with Zach Lavine over his extension. You Kyrie stans need to stop the pro-black “crackas” angle because the league is black and he’s the only one with these issues.
You gotta understand that @Squirrel from Meteor Man is only pretending to be a keyboard militant because Kyrie is his vehicle to hating on Bron, who @Squirrel from Meteor Man has openly admitted to never letting an opportunity go by without shytting on him.

He’s even gone as so far to cheering on Kyrie for posting Alex Jones and Jordan Peterson content. There isn’t anything that Kyrie can say or do that’ll stop @Squirrel from Meteor Man from defending him.

This is all a game to him.

It’s good to see more folks finally seeing @Squirrel from Meteor Man’s true c00n colors.

Feelings aside, It’s actually thoughtful of Kyrie to ask for a trade ahead of the deadline instead of just leaving at the end of the season where the Nets get nothing. It’s on the Nets find value by next Thursday. Can’t have your cake and eat it too, pay the max or trade dude

he’s doing it for his own benefit which (his habitual fukkery aside) actually makes sense…doing it now ensures he has the “best” chance of getting an extension…waiting til the end of the season drastically minimizes those chances cuz the the nets can say “fukk it—walk” and just look to free up cap space…they can still do that now but I don’t think they want to deal with this headache any longer

Its going to be hilarious if the dippers trade for Kyrie and he walks out on them in the offseason :mjlol:

The thing is the Clippers might not care if that happens. They may view Kyrie as a hired mercenary to win a chip, similar to how the Raptors viewed Kawhi.
