It’s no way the Clippers give up PG since they gave up so much to get him.

I think they’d offer Wall, Norman Powell, probably Terrance Mann, Kennard, Marcus Morris. Basically young talent and easily movable or expiring deals and maybe the 1 or 2 picks they do have

LIke you said, I think any deal would have to start with Norman Powell anyone not named Kawhi, PG, or Zubac.

They'd have to just give the Nets the roster excel and be like :manny:

Then decide if what BK highlighted is worth it.

I think clippers might pull it off. A Powell/Morris/Mann is a good return if Nets still want to compete.
If I’m the Clippers I’d try to keep Mann at all costs but I’d understand why the Nets would insist on him coming back. The Clippers would need to bring in another wing from somewhere though

Will Brooklyn try offloading Ben Simmons in a Kyrie trade?

Lakers trade - Westbrook, Pat Bev
Nets trade - Kyrie, Ben Simmons

Nets save $40-50M in luxury tax and free up $50-60M in cap space next summer.

:jbhmm:
Essentially that's what I've been saying. I would tell the lakers they can have kyrie but I want the picks unprotected and you must take Ben Simmons who Lebron likes is part of Clutch and Lebron works out with. If the Lakers can fix him you have your young player. Imagine if they can get Ben Simmons back to pre Atlanta series. Obviously it's a risk for the Lakers though but a calculated one.

The other factor is do the nets want to rebuild? They may not then you would probably need a third team willing to move a star and maybe a third high level guy. Maybe the wizards are finally ready to start over?

I wonder if the Hawks could be a potential 3rd team? They are trying to move Trae and Collins.

Cacs have been waiting for this brother to fukk up.

This is more of a personal choice to move on and the media twist and turns it into him being the bad guy.
@jj23 @Squirrel from Meteor Man and @inndaskKy I appreciate your commitment to being the 3 nikkas supporting this clown why the entire actual living in NY Nets contingent black people in here are over this Nîgga. It’s actually an interesting case study in how far people will go and the logical leaps they will take to defend someone they like for their talent. I don’t get where anyone on here gets off disagreeing with actual New Yorkers :deadrose:. nikkas who never frequent a Nets thread trying to get fake militant points.

If guys who perfectly clean off the court resumes who are not known to do shyt like take random 2 week saboticals from the team with no contact - have clauses or took less than the full max they can get - why is this guy so different? Moreover, he’s not the first or last all star to have to play out a contract year to get an extension. The Bulls just wrangled with Zach Lavine over his extension. You Kyrie stans need to stop the pro-black “crackas” angle because the league is black and he’s the only one with these issues.

You are correct. He has exercised his option to be free of the Nets and to be traded. He has given the Nets a week to figure out a trade.

Marks and Tsai have, with their piss poor negotiating, put themselves in a position where they will not get the best possible trade for a player who has been top 15 this year.

That's why I said fukk the Nets. They are letting bullshyt get in the way of business. That's just my opinion.
