People here coming here saying other teams than the Lakeshow should inquire :mjlol:
He’s going to the Lakers in the off season. Any team taking him now would have to give a bunch of assets and they ain’t dumb.

He’s :shaq: Lakeshow bound
SO YOU fukkING PUTOS CAN SHUT THE fukk UP :pacspit:

The Nets know they have no shot to win it if they let Kyrie go, he’s holding their feet to the fire. I don’t blame him, he has the leverage in this situation so they might as well give him that fully guaranteed extension now. The Nets FO been pumpfaking tryna flex their muscle for a minute but they gon fold, they know they’re gonna need him.

during the pandemic fiasco, when they initially decided they weren’t going to let him play at all, they should’ve traded him to a team in a city/state that didn’t have those rigid requirements…I think he was at peak trade value then…letting him come back and play road games was a mistake…I think around that time the owner pretty much knew he wasn’t gonna feel comfortable maxing out kyrie and it’s led to a fake power struggle…there’s no longer any reason to keep a disgruntled kyrie around bcuz he has proven he’s very capable of finding new and exciting ways to sabotage/distract the team lol…it’s easier for me to say in hindsight but we should’ve been traded him…if we’d gotten back decent pieces for him then I think we would’ve been able to placate KD…maxing out kyrie was never the answer tho…he’s not gonna get that contract he’s looking for from ANY a team at this point…his availability mentally/physically will always come into question
Yeah it probably was a mistake letting him play road games, but I don't think they would've let him come back if KD hadn't gotten injured. It's hard to judge their decisions at the time, especially if they knew Kyrie wasn't a long-term fit. Keeping Kyrie gave them the greatest chance of winning a championship. And I disagree, if he gets traded to the Lakers and they make a deep playoff run, he'll get another max.

They don’t want him. Everything thats leaked regarding what was offered screamed “WE DON’T WANT YOU!”

This is a mutually bad marriage that both need to move on from
They want him but they want to control him as much as possible. Kyrie staying reduces the chances of KD demanding a trade.
