I honestly wonder if Lebron has the patience to deal with Kyrie’s antics over an entire season. I know they were able to coexist during the Cleveland days but that was a loooongg time ago. Lebron looks like he can stomach Westbrook and no matter what boneheaded shyt he‘s liable to do on the court these days, you can never say he doesn’t show up and play hard.

Kyrie is liable to take a vacation mid-season to the Himalayas to get a spiritual tattoo to ward off ghost carnivores.

May not be the match made in heaven some think it is. Say what you will about LeGM and all that, but I truly think Lebron is trying to get at least one more Championship out of his Lakers tenure and hedging that bet on Kyrie might not be the move to accomplish that
W-w-w-w-what are these...? :lupe: :merchant:

Nets management is dumb. They should’ve pitched Kyrie on a fully-guaranteed 3 year max with the 3rd year being a player option and tried convincing him that he could get another big contract after the cap spikes in 2025. The winning stipulation is offensive.

during the pandemic fiasco, when they initially decided they weren’t going to let him play at all, they should’ve traded him to a team in a city/state that didn’t have those rigid requirements…I think he was at peak trade value then…letting him come back and play road games was a mistake…I think around that time the owner pretty much knew he wasn’t gonna feel comfortable maxing out kyrie and it’s led to a fake power struggle…there’s no longer any reason to keep a disgruntled kyrie around bcuz he has proven he’s very capable of finding new and exciting ways to sabotage/distract the team lol…it’s easier for me to say in hindsight but we should’ve been traded him…if we’d gotten back decent pieces for him then I think we would’ve been able to placate KD…maxing out kyrie was never the answer tho…he’s not gonna get that contract he’s looking for from ANY a team at this point…his availability mentally/physically will always come into question

They don’t want him. Everything thats leaked regarding what was offered screamed “WE DON’T WANT YOU!”

This is a mutually bad marriage that both need to move on from
